We are pleased to inform you that the CoC/SAC Seminar on GFCM Fisheries Restricted Areas (SemFRA) will be held on 25 March 2022, online, via Zoom.

Interested experts are invited to register online by 20 March through the link on the GFCM website: https://www.fao.org/gfcm/meetings/info/en/c/1475671/.

The main objectives of the SemFRA are to review and discuss with stakeholders:

  • Elements on the management of FRAs;
  • Challenges about the effective implementation of FRAs;
  • Innovative MCS measures used in the monitoring of FRAs.

The annotated agenda will be circulated once registration is closed and based on confirmed speakers. At that time, the link to the ZOOM meeting will be provided too.
